about me

Good new, bad news!

Hello authonomy family. At this time, (bad news) I will be taking a indefinite break from authonomy because (good news) I need to concentrate all my efforts on publishing my novel, Night of the Chupacabra, scheduled for an October 17, 2012 release.

I can't thank you all enough for your comments, which were extremely helpful and I hope you found mine just as beneficial.

I'll still check in on occasion, mostly out of curiosity and to shuffle my bookshelf around for you folk, but this hiatus will last a while.

If I had promised a review of your book and never got to it, I can't apologize enough. I had, unexpectedly, become a caregiver these last few months, which was exhausting and gave me no extra time. I hope one day I'll be able to make it up to you.

Cheers and good luck everyone! See you on the bookshelves!

Closet - comments The logline for this novel is very intriguing. I can relate to the importance of incorporating strong themes of love in a horror story, which made me excited to begin reading. Unfortunately, I did not read enough to comment on character development or arcs, etc, but of what I ... view book

HCG Review - "Lifers" There is a nice rhythm to this story although it may be a little light on the prose in the first chapter; however, there is a very well laid structure where you reach into the character's minds and give the reader a good sense of the past, present and future of that moment, ... view book

"Extinction" - Review First, I have to say that I love, love, love this concept and would want to read-on if there were another draft. Although the set-up and some of the description is exciting and heart-pumping, jumping from one moment to the next without a transition period is too fast. Ex... view book

HCG Review - "The Dark Betwixt" This is a thoroughly enjoyable read and the author shows great talent in the prose with excellent suspense and descriptive use of adjectives, such as "cheap curtains" and "oily fear". The pacing is spot on and sentence structures flow with ease, creating a vivid p... view book

The Night Runner - comments You have a great and destinctive voice. This is very well written and enthralling, and I do not have much to critique on other than there are a few words missing but maybe this was done in the updating process to authonomy? Well done. High score and BACKED. Mic... view book
