about me

It's Still all about me

I'm a pretty laid back kind of guy. If you catch my attention in the forums by saying something clever, witty, or intelligent, there is a better than likely chance that I will take a look at your book.

If I stay with it for three chapters, I will definitely comment on it.

I'm in the process now of re editing, and re-writing.

Who knew writing could be such a chore? Not writing so much. I enjoy that part. It's more the endless nit finding, and
plot bunnies that need to be humanely extracted.

See you in the funny forums...

Bob

As for my book, If you love satire and dislike banks, you may enjoy it.

Although various wealthy Nigerians seem to have an inordinate amount of trust in my financial acumen and honesty, The fly in the ointment is when they ask such an honest man as I to dishonestly sneak money out of their country.

I'm afraid the only way I'll ever make my fortune is by convincing enough people to buy my book.

Be warned, I'm starting with you...:-)

Fortunately, the ancient Order of Gnostr O’Damnus is ready this time.

Ooh errr, sir Richard. I apologize for the lack of contact lately, but the weather here in the colonies is positively beastly. I am currently experiencing the effects of what we call a nor'easter, which has kept us holed up in our abodes for days. This causes an Affliction known as "cabin fever", wh... view book

Well Graham, you've done it again. You've gone and made me lose sleep while I've read everything you posted. Bastard :-) While the first few chapters were more graphic than what I was able to read of TGFK, you still managed to keep it from crossing the line into voyeurism. I was horrified by th... view book

I was about to ritually disembowel myself after I read your impression of my book, when I realized that the second part of your comment put me up in the ranks with Oscar Wilde, Clive Barker, Plato, Chuck Pahlaniuk, Samuel R. Interesting, Interesting. The dialogue is just the right mix of archaeic grammar and simple text, to give it an otherworldly feel without sounding forced or pompous. Not an easy feat to pull off. This is the kind of writing I love to read. Characterisation, setting, and backstory deftly painte... view book
