about me

The best way to get me to read your book is to read and comment on mine first. I don't mind you asking in my message place, but I put priority on reading the books of those who have read mine first (or the ones I found on my own).

Don't hesitate to friend invite me. I'm kinda shy about inviting others so am happy to have others invite me

I am a mom, first and foremost. I have 3 boys, Joey (11), Nathan (8) and Ben (6). I have a great husband.

I bake, especially decorated cakes (pics on one of my links). I'm also a Spanish interpreter. I work for the local school's migrant program as a home visitor and work at the after-school program. I have a BA in Spanish and minor in Linguistics from the Ohio State University.

I'm a soccer mom and I'm obsessed with my chickens. The chickens even have their own web space (one of my links).

The Summoner

L.A. Sombra

What happens when we die? We wake from the dream.

After her death, Kelly wakes to discover that her life was merely a dream. Learning to live in her new, seemingly perfect world is fairly easy...until her new life is taken away.

A story of love, betrayal, self-discovery and adventure, The Summoner will take you for an unexpected ride through a fantastical world of danger and beauty.

I've invented the creatures and races involved in my world. I also invented a language, Thiemovi, which the MC must learn. Hope you enjoy and I welcome any crits you might have :)

Formerly known as Awake From the Life Dream

This book is complete, but the chapters that aren't uploaded are currently backed up in an external hard drive until I get a new computer! They need edited, but I plan to go ahead and upload them anyway.

Ch 1: So far, a very interesting story. I will try to comment on more chapters at a time after this one. It was a longer chapter than the others seem to be and I'm being cut short by family things. I'm not good at finding content errors, just typos and such, but I found a few of those. "As ... view book

Hello, Saw your message inviting me to read and thought I'd check it out. It's now on my WL. It's behind a few other ones on my WL, but I look forward to reading it :) Just wanted to let you know. Jen (LaSombra) The Summoner view book

another great book, Joshua. I read through all you have posted and enjoyed it. I didn't find much that I could suggest in editing. In chapter 7, you forgot "the" in a sentence: "Silas sauntered out of (the) tent" The part about the windshield shattering didn't quite work. It would probab... view book

Hi Emily, Just wanted to let you know that I let my 8-year-old read some of your book and he said he liked it. He asked if we could buy it, but I told him it wasn't published yet and he said, "awww." :) Jen (LaSombra) view book

still reading. Through chapter 7, but it's late and I need to go to bed. I haven't caught anything in the next few chapters. This reminds me a lot of Junie B Jones. The kids I teach at the after-school program (1st-3rd) love Junie B. Anyway, I could really visualize the kids reading this book i... view book
